OBJECTIVES
The Montessori Experiences programme is geared towards the participants’ holistic development, articulating a training proposal that goes beyond the acquisition of knowledge to focus on deep understanding, conscious experience, and personal and professional transformation. In line with the methodological model “Foundation, Experience–Evidence, Transfer–Transformation”, the programme’s objectives are structured progressively, enabling a pathway that integrates theoretical grounding, direct experience, and contextualised application.
1. General objective
To develop an experiential training process that enables participants to understand, experience, and integrate the principles of Montessori pedagogy, with particular emphasis on Cosmic Education, fostering a transformation of their pedagogical perspective and their capacity to accompany others in educational and human development contexts.
2. Specific objectives
At the Foundation level, the aim is for participants to deepen their understanding of the scientific, philosophical, and pedagogical foundations of Maria Montessori’s work, understanding Cosmic Education as an integrative vision of human development that connects knowledge, meaning, and responsibility in relation to the environment.
At the Experience level, the programme aims to foster immersion in real contexts linked to the Montessori legacy, where participants can experience pedagogical principles through direct contact with the environment, nature, history, and community, promoting situated and meaningful learning.
At the Evidence level, the aim is to develop the capacity for observation, reflection, and critical analysis, enabling participants to recognise, interpret, and reframe their lived experiences from a pedagogical perspective, integrating what they observe with their own personal and professional journey.
At the Transfer level, the objective is for participants to be able to apply the learning acquired to their contexts of practice (educational, family, or therapeutic), generating practices that are more conscious, coherent, and aligned with the principles of human development.
Finally, at the Transformation level, the programme seeks to facilitate processes of internal change that impact participants’ professional and personal identity, promoting greater awareness of themselves, of their role as educators, and of their capacity to contribute to building more humane and respectful educational environments.
Taken together, these objectives shape a learning pathway that is not limited to the acquisition of competencies, but is oriented towards building a deep pedagogical perspective capable of integrating knowledge, experience, and meaning, in line with the principles underpinning Montessori pedagogy and with the current needs of the educational field.
