About Us
Transformation begins with the adult.
About MMWays
Sentir Montessori, by MMWays, is a project that unites two worlds: Montessori pedagogy and travel as a life experience.
Its name reflects this essence: on one hand, the legacy of Maria Montessori; on the other, MonnickenMeer, the place where the project is conceived, takes shape, and is lived, which means "The Monks' Lake."
After expressing this idea aloud, the Universe placed magical people in my path at exactly the right time and in the right place!
I have the honor, privilege, and good fortune to share this dream with Bet Lillo, from the Red Internacional Montessori, whose support has been key in taking this step.

About Bet
I am a mother of four, a primary school teacher (ages 6-12), and a specialist in the 3 to 6-year-old stage.
I completed a Master's in Social and Educational Interventions and am currently a doctoral candidate in the Education and Society program at the University of Barcelona, where I am also a member of the RIEC-BCN research group.
Founder of the Red Internacional Montessori, a space for weaving connections and shared learning.
I train and support Montessori guides, co-guides, and assistants in various countries, with a special focus on philosophy, observation, and the design of prepared environments (both physical and emotional) in schools and homes. I work as a pedagogical consultant in the creation of Montessori schools, as well as in the training of management and teaching teams, collaborating in the systematization of their educational projects.
I am part of Experiencias Montessori, a space for local training, trips to reconnect with the origins of Maria Montessori, and retreats for women.
I also accompany personal processes: I provide mentoring to women entrepreneurs and hold circles for women, mothers, and parenting groups.
I offer individual and group pedagogical consultancy. I participated in The Forbidden Education and Imagine Elephants, two documentaries that amplified a more human and conscious perspective on education.
I walk this path with gratitude for the profession I love, always guided by the conviction that educating is an act of love, listening, and shared transformation.
About Me
Born in Gran Canaria, a bridge territory between Europe, Africa, and Latin America, whose cultural diversity has shaped my way of inhabiting the world. I emigrated to the Netherlands in 2002.
In 2009 and 2012, my two great teachers were born, and that is how Montessori came into my life.
We spent my children's absorbent mind and reasoning mind years in the Middle East, and in 2022, with the Erdkinder stage just around the corner, we returned to the Netherlands.
My path combines training in Tourism, life in multicultural environments, and a Montessori vocation that has deepened especially throughout the great journey that is motherhood.
I have been a Children's House classroom guide; I have trained in Elementary I and II, and Montessori Orientation for seniors with cognitive impairment; I am certified in Positive Discipline for families and NLP. I am currently training for the Third Plane.
I am part of Experiencias Montessori, a space for local training, trips to reconnect with the origins of Maria Montessori, and retreats for women.
Co-founder of SamenFuture Proof, a social initiative that offers bilingual workshops for young people to learn, grow, and strengthen life skills.
In parallel, I maintain continuous self-taught training in feminism.
I raised and I grew. And then I believed so that I could create.
This idea was born while I was rediscovering myself in the middle of a journey; not just a journey where you discover the world, but also a way of learning how to look at it, and how to look at myself!
There was a moment between suitcases, schools, languages, and cultures when I almost lost track of who I am, where I am going, and why I am here. Montessori showed me how to observe children, but I was forgetting to observe myself!
I understood that the Montessori perspective reminds us that learning does not end with childhood.
The adult also needs to stop, be amazed, and reconnect with the essential. To ask ourselves who we are now, what we carry within, and what we want to continue building.
Sentir Montessori, by MMWays is the way to integrate all of this into a living project, with meaning and shared learning.

Mission
We design Montessori pedagogical tourism experiences that unite education, well-being, and conscious travel, bringing people from all over the world closer to the roots of the pedagogy and the living experience of its legacy in the Netherlands.
To care for, guide, and accompany the adults who care for, guide, and accompany.
Vision
To be a benchmark in Europe for Montessori experiences that unite education, well-being, and conscious travel.
To build bridges of connection with the roots of the Montessori methodology/philosophy and the living legacy of Dr. Maria Montessori in Holland through pedagogical tourism proposals and cultural immersion in the Netherlands.
