This unique pedagogical experience is inspired by the Montessori philosophy, where learning occurs through direct interaction with others and the environment.
Join us and bring your Montessori formation to a different level or begin to discover it through a cultural immersion in a unique European context!
The pedagogical focus here is on Cosmic Education, understood as an integrative vision of human development that recognizes the interdependence between the individual, nature, and the universe. You can read more about the program’s objectives here.
It was in the Netherlands that Maria Montessori consolidated her deepest thoughts after her stay in India.
Needless to say, you’ll also have a lot of fun!

Daily Structure
Day 1 Arrival and Opening
Welcome and connection with the environment
Upon your arrival, we will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation, where this shared experience will begin. We will enjoy a welcome dinner, a first opportunity to get to know each other and form the group.
In the evening, we will take a walk in the surroundings, connecting with the natural environment and slowing down after the journey.
Day 2 · Immersion: Nature, Pedagogy, and Exploration
We will start the day with a leisurely breakfast before heading to Noordwijk, where we will explore its natural environment and its connection to Maria Montessori.
We will return home for a time of shared reflection and rest.
Day 3 · Immersion: Culture and Essence of Amsterdam
Discover Amsterdam through visits to relevant historical contexts.
Outdoor lunch.
At the end of the day, you can choose between:
- Free time in Amsterdam
- Guided local tourism near home.
Day 4 · Integration and Closing
Farewell:
We conclude the experience with a farewell breakfast and a final bike ride to enjoy the surroundings once more.
Finally, we will provide airport transfer, leaving you with lasting memories, learnings, and connections.
The physical environment
You will be based in a beautiful stay amidst a polder in Waterland, designed to support the experience:

In the book M. Montessori writes to her grandchildren, Mario (32) also writes a letter to his mother after being arrested and separated (once again) from her (69), in India, June 1940.
